LOCO will be bringing a truck-load of ramps, rails, and boxes for public use and skateboard demonstrations. There will be a table setup with all sorts of info about local skateboarding and our skatepark project. WHERE: Potomac Falls Express Lube in Potomac Falls, VA
LOCO Skate Project hosted a car wash fundraiser on May 30th from 11am to 3pm at Potomac Falls Express Lube in Sterling.
It was a free car wash with donations accepted that benefitted our efforts to bring a safe and legal skatepark to Sterling. Local skaters volunteered during the whole event and ended up racking in just under $300 for the skatepark.

We had a table and mobile skatepark setup at Freedom Fest in Ashburn. We hosted two skateboard demonstrations by local sponsored skaters. Ramps were open to the public between demos - signed waiver and helmet are required. Other festival activities included Soap Box Derby, Parade, Concert, and Fireworks.

We hosted a video premiere for a local skateboarding video Thus Far, which was produced by Sterling native Nate Dean. Nate now lives up in the New England area, but he produces films of skaters up north and locals down here in Northern Virginia. It was a full house and the crowd was ecstatic through the whole premiere.
