The Loudoun County Skate Project hosts a variety of events for promotion and fundraising purposes all for the objective to raise awareness of the need for public skateparks.
The list below, displays details on Sterling's events. Each of these were voluntarily planned and executed by members of our Board and local supporters. If you're interested in assisting us for future events, we encourage you to look at our volunteer opportunities or contact us directly.
Car Wash Fundraiser

LOCO Skate Project hosted a car wash fundraiser on May 30th from 11am to 3pm at Potomac Falls Express Lube in Sterling.
It was a free car wash with donations accepted that benefitted our efforts to bring a safe and legal skatepark to Sterling. Local skaters volunteered during the whole event and ended up racking in just under $300 for the skatepark.

Loudoun County Skate Project has organized a community volunteer event to support their current skate park projects. This event will take place at the pond in Sugarland Run on the 15th of August from 10am to 1pm. Thus Far Video Premiere

We hosted a video premiere for a local skateboarding video Thus Far, which was produced by Sterling native Nate Dean. Nate now lives up in the New England area, but he produces films of skaters up north and locals down here in Northern Virginia. It was a full house and the crowd was ecstatic through the whole premiere.

This was our third event in the Skate in the Center fundraiser series. As usual, a multitude of families and local skaters came to skate and show their support for the Loudoun County Skate Project. We had distance and highest ollie contests, who claimed Nathan Wolfberg and Justin Damer as winners.
